Our Intensive Driving Courses are Different
Many Driving Schools offer what they describe as Intensive Driving Courses that are either not as Intensive as you are originally told, or are badly planned.
Some Driving Schools offer Intensive Driving Courses, but once you have booked it you find that you are only getting a couple of hours per day, and sometimes it is not even every day!
Some Driving Schools offer Intensive Driving Courses where there are 2 or even 3 students sharing the car.
This means that you are paying for a day, but in reality you are only getting half a day at the most!
Some Driving Schools try to combine the Theory Test and the Practical Driving Test in the same week.
This sound great, but it is probably the worst type of course!
It means that you are shortening your practical driving course, so you are less likely to pass your practical driving test!
It also means that you do not have a practical driving test appointment booked when you start the course!
(A practical driving test appointment can only be booked AFTER you have passed the theory test)
So if they cannot find a suitable driving test appointment for you, you do the Intensive Driving Course, but you do not even get to take the driving test!
Sometimes they do find a driving test appointment for you, but it could be 50 miles away (or even more) in an area that you have never seen before!
And sometimes your driving instructor hasn’t been there before either!
Some Driving Schools offer set length courses
Without any assessment of your driving!
How can they know what length of course you will need just by speaking to you on the telephone?!
Our Intensive Driving Courses are different
Before we arrange your Intensive Driving Course we will first assess your driving.
We will assess your current driving ability.
We will assess how quickly you learn.
Based on this assessment we will advise you of the length of Intensive Driving Course you will need.
We can also advise you on other options such as Semi Intensive Driving Courses.
This assessment also gives you the opportunity to assess us.
You get to meet the Driving Instructor that will deliver your Intensive Driving Course, so that you can be reassured that you are booking your course with a professional, and that they are a person that you can work with towards passing your driving test.
Once we have completed the assessment, your driving test and Intensive Driving Course can be organised.
Your Intensive Driving Course will be one to one tuition
Your Intensive Driving Course will be 6 hours per day
(usually 9.00am to 3.00pm)
(breaks for tea, coffee, lunch can be taken as required)
Your Intensive Driving Course will be on consecutive days
(usually excluding Saturdays and Sundays)
Your driving test will be arranged for the afternoon of the final day of your Intensive Driving Course, at a Driving Test Centre that you have agreed to.
